OHP has introduced a PGR Calculator app, its first iPhone application, designed for Apple iPhone, iTouch or iPad users. The free app is available through the iTunes Application Store.
PGR Calculator allows the user to look up current growth regulator rates in parts per million for spray or drench applications. The user enters the desired dose and size (length and width) of the application area or the number of pots for a drench treatment. The app calculates the amount of solution and product needed. The app allows users to perform rate calculations for OHP growth regulators, including Augeo, B-Nine, Cycocel and Paczol.
OHP senior technical manager Dave Barcel said the new app is a simple tool that takes the guesswork out of calculating and applying growth regulators in the field. He said the app is easy and accurate to use.
